I was on Dasatinib in a clinical trial here in North Idaho, USA. I have a rare form of intestinal cancer however that spread to my liver and pancreas and do not have blood cancer.
Dasatinib is expensive, at least 100 American dollars per pill. I am on state funded Medicaid however and I do not pay anything for my chemotherapy. I am now taking Tasigna (Nilotinib) and it is not part of a study. Still, I do not have to pay, Medicaid does.
