Want to see what I got at my garage sales this weekend?

I had such a fun day going to garage sales with a friend today! Gorgeous sunny day, great conversation with a friend, and bargain hunting ? what more can a girl ask for? (Thanks for coming with me Michele!)

Let me first share some of the interesting things we saw along way that well I just had to take a picture so you would believe it. Towards the end of the day we saw this sign ? and yep they were selling bottled water or a can of Budweiser for $1.

I had to do a double take when we drove by this house and I saw this life size Yoda from Star Wars for sale. Only $1,500. . .

Here is what I actually ended up buying. First this would make a great project to possibly paint. Not sure what I will end up doing with it yet but it has potential don?t you think?Pretty good for $4 huh?

Then I found both of these items to fill those infamous shelves in my bedroom. The tiny bud face I paid 25 cents at a church sale. The second one is much heavier and I just thought it had a fun funky look to it. It was priced at $15 but when I asked them if they would take any less they said how much? I said well let?s see I have $9 left. They said okay SOLD.

Then the funny thing was that I then told the lady at this sale okay that is all my cash I am not going to be able to buy those Tupperware bowls I set aside. She said no problem I got it for you and paid for the bowls for me?wasn?t sure what to think about it. But I think they just really wanted to get rid of items and were glad to see them find a good home. So here are my new bowls too.

The last sale we stopped at for the day the lady had lots of FREE stuff. I thought this game was screaming my girls? name as they love board games! How cool is this 70s Family Feud board game?How can I turn down Free?!
