The MSEC Pentest team is performing R&D in the areas of kernel-mode security and native user-mode programming. We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong knowledge in Windows kernel security and device driver development. The general requirement is as follow:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development of specialized security tools running in kernel and user-mode on x86/x64 and ARM platforms
Develop software-only Windows kernel-mode drivers for security R&D purposes
Develop Windows filter drivers to intercept network traffic
Develop user-mode components (in C/C#) relating to network and kernel communication
Implement custom authentication protocol for network security purposes
Reverse engineer malware
Research and develop UEFI modules

Qualifications:

5?10 years of C/C++ experience. Previous experience with C# is a plus.
5 years of hands-on Windows kernel-mode development.
5 years of user and kernel-mode reverse engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of low-level details on the x86/x64 architecture. ARM is a plus.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

The ideal candidate will be have at least 5 years of hands-on kernel development experience in the following areas: networking, file systems, legacy software drivers. In addition, he/she will be well versed in reverse engineering of kernel-mode drivers / rootkits. In other words, the candidate should be familiar with these concepts: deferred procedure calls, work items, asynchronous procedure calls, driver objects, device objects, WFP.
